im basically trying to organize a running/jogging regime for myself & am looking for any input &/or advice.

i've been strict raw, with minor slip ups, for about 2 months. ive been disappointed, not with the way i feel--i am ecstatic about that, but with the physical changes of my body. while i haven't gained any weight, i havent lost any either.

i am relatively thin, pretty tall--5'9, but im looking to tone the texture of my body. i have barely any muscle mass im pretty sure. i dont have access to a gym & i actually like running, so that's what im doing.

ive been running twice a day, for about 30 minutes. im not sure of the distance. so far, it's been tremendously exhausting. my legs ache, my breathing is very labored, but i truly feel great afterwards. i attribute the pain to being out of shape & an ex-smoker.

im also curious to hear from anyone who has adhered to a similar regime. when should i start noticing physical changes in my body's texture if im exercising this way in conjunction with raw? like i said, im skinny, im not really looking to lose weight--im looking to tone my body structure.

thanks for reading.

I just posted about long distance triathlon training--funny.
But, what I know about training.....how many miles are you doing a week? If you are running 2 x a day, 7 days a week you are not giving your body a rest. Raw diet or not. Rest=Rejuvienation. Rejuvenation=muscle building. Your body needs rest to build up (and tone). I would vary your intensities daily--alternate "hard" days with easy days. Vary the daily time/distance. At home, push ups and core/ab work with a physioball will help. But that is great that you were able to kick the smoking habit and go this route!
