Everyone is different. I meet some cooked food non-vegetarians who are the sweetest people on a one-to-one level. Raw vegans on a high eternal unifying vibe, still trying to insulate themselves against the continous lashings of a defensive, aggressive society. Deeply religious folks in my neighborhood who are totally inconsiderate of the earth, the needs of future generations, people who don't look like them.

The variety of people and their circumstances and reactions is awe-inspiring. Mostly it seems that people who eat Raw and Living foods are more gentle, conscious, inspired and committed to the well-being of everyone -- not just our own little tribes! And it seems that those loving attitudes manifest in every aspect of life.

So, this question is for new Dads. Or, new moms who can talk to their partners about their issue and post for us! It's okay if only one of you is raw or high-raw. That makes it more interesting -- though it's a blessing if you both share the raw lifestyle! (More questions for new Moms, soon to come.)

So, Dads .. how did you initially react to your (partner's) pregnancy?

What were your hopes and dreams?

Your problems and adjustments?

Expectations throughout the pregnancy?

How do you feel your experiences (as a 40-100% Raw couple) differed from the experiences of mostly cooked or SAD couples?

As I was a new dad while completely SAD, I guess I can't tell you what you are looking for.

I can tell you that I bet my hopes and dreams were quite the same as anyone RAW.

Problems and adjustments? well they may be different for SAD v RAW, but both have them.

Many people attest to having different sensitivities, desires, and priorities after going raw. Still, hearing about your experience would be helpful, Fuzzball!
