For all that were sad when Cilantro closed its doors- they are re-opening in Carlsbad today under a new name. The menu changed and everything.

I'm surprised they decided to reopen this location - it was always pretty empty when I went in. I'll have to check it out next time I am in town. Can you post a little bit of their menu after your visit? Thanks!

Thanks for posting. I can't wait to go. I'm in LA but drive to SD several times a year and have no problem driving down there for a meal! I just started the MC today and am not sure how long I will remain on it but as soon as it's done, I just may have to take a drive!

yes they did. i'm not sure if the re-opening under the new name is her or not.
