Anyone buy dried figs in bulk online? Would love to know where. I LOVE figs, although strangely I only like them dried...the fresh ones make me gag.

I don't like fresh figs either even though I have had the fresh ones only once but enough to know I wasn't going to try them again! I only like them dried.

Funny, I love them fresh and don't like them dried. I had a local guy give me a whole gallon ziplock of fresh figs just two weeks ago, I felt like he had given me gold. ALSO, there are several varieties and they don't all taste the same, and fresh off the tree is always better than store bought.
But for dried ones in bulk you might try:

I have seen organic black mission and calimyrnas at Raw From the Farm http://www.rawfromthefarm.com.
Anyone know where you can get organic sun-dried prunes?

Hey there,
Have you tried the Unicorn or I think it is called Eighth Degree.
I think the Unicorn would be your best and closest bet.
Also funky rob may be able to get you a good deal on bulk.

How about in the UK? Or...if anyone on this side of the ocean knows where to order bulk crates of fruit in general, that would be amazing....and cheap bulk crates, as buying them from one of the little Pakistani shops is already fairly cheap.

Strange but true, the prune industry has changed their marketing.
"Prunes" are out and "dried plums" are in so you might want to try searching that way.
I love figs and plums both fresh and dried!

Costco has fresh 24 for $5.99 and hubby bought 4 packages of these. I can't talk for dried here.
