Yesterday at the health food store I saw a 14 whole spice curry blend that came in a small jar with a peppermill attached to it and decided to try it and it's absolutely incredible, I thought I'd list the ingredients here so you can try making your own, I will once this one is finished:

coriander seeds
coarse sea salt
cumin seeds
garlic (chop fresh garlic and dehydrate)
black peppercorns
fennel seeds
mustard seeds
onion (chop fresh onion and dehydrate)
ginger (chop fresh ginger and dehydrate)
cinnamon
chillies
cloves
fenugreek
bay leaf
turmeric oil
curry leaf
ginger oil

Try getting as many of the ingredients as you can and put this in a peppermill, if it's half as good as the pre made one I bought you'll be amazed!

Well I had to try making some myself, after all I've already used about 1/4 of the jar I bought in 24 hours, it's that good. I used all the ingredients except garlic, onion, cinnamon, cloves, bay leaf, turmeric oil, curry leaf and ginger oil and it tastes almost identical. I've put this in my electric peppermill, I won't be wanting plain pepper anymore!

I got curious about this and found this link for the Cape Herb line of spice grinders:

http://cmb.stores.yahoo.net/capeherb.html

Here's the company's web page:

http://www.capeherb.com/index.asp.

But I couldn't find a source for the refill packets.

These sound pretty super.

saxmaam: You don't need refills, or to buy them at all, I've remade my own version and it's just as good and way way cheaper. I won't be buying anymore, I'll be making it.
