I'm thinking about getting a Spirooli slicer. I know it is used for making zuchini spaghetti, but what else does it do? Can you make like match stick sized veggies with it too? Could you put an onion in it to kind of chop it? This last week, I have been getting my salads at a salad bar and they have carrots, peppers and zuchini all in julienne or matchstick size pieces and I really like that, so I was wondering if the Spirooli could do that with veggies or is it really just to make spaghetti?

Mine is a Joyce Chen and it doesn't do the matchsticks. It only makes spaghetti and long flat strips to use in lasagna.

I think you need a mandoline slicer to make the matchsticks.
