A friend and I are travelling from Toronto Ontario Canada to Fort Braggs California (for Living Light Expo) and then to (Sedona for Raw Spirit Expo) and we want to do it raw! We plan to make a road trip out of it and commune with rawbies along the way. Wondering if anyone can contribute ideas for restaurants, accomodation, communities, health food stores, co-ops, best driving routes, tips anything to enhance our adventures along the way. We'd love to meet new people too and share experiences : )

here are the states we are travelling through:

Michigan
Illinois
Iowa
Nebraska
Colorado
utah
Wyoming
nevada
California
Arizona

If you're going through Salt Lake City UT, stop at Omar's Living Cuisine. That sounds like such a FUN trip. Best wishes!

Pitaya,

First of all- enjoy the drive. I've driven through most of those states a few years ago and there's lots of magical nature spots to stop and enjoy:)

Second, my husband and I are attending the Living Light Expo in Fort Bragg. Hope to see you there!
If you want to email me, I can send you some possible places to stop;)

Enjoy!

I'm not quite clear on whether you're still coming to CA, but if you are...

Southern California:
JULIANO'S RAW. You must, must, MUST go here. It's amazing. Beyond words.
Rawvolution. You should go here as well, their food is very good.

Northern California:
Cafe Gratitude. See "Juliano's Raw" - Cafe Gratitude is beyond words as well.
Cafe La Vie. Also very good.
