What other benefits have you all seen since started raw?
One thing I noticed from the before/after pics is no one looks flabby and wrinkly. When I was at Weight Watchers I saw a lot of women lose a lot of weight and looked older.... not all but a lot.
I'm getting ready to start my raw challenge. I've finally got the green smoothie down :) . My first couple were disasters . I figured get half way organised before I start.
My husband is actually liking them and he hates veggies and fruits. The only fruit I've seen him eat is strawberries and occasionally watermelon and I've never seen him eat a vegetable except a baked potatoe covered in butter.
My mother came over the other day just as I made a GS. Gotta give her credit she said..... hmmmm I taste bannanas strawberries "But I can't figure out how you got it green"... it was spinache an idea I got from you guys . Thanks. My first smoothie I used Kale and ended up throwing it out.

Yeah, my first couple of smoothies were rather rude tasting. Luckily I persisted too, and now I can see them as a daily staple.
...I'm not totally raw all the time, but I have been for good chunks of time, and have also noticed the whites of my eyes get very white and almost glossy! ...and pink cheeks...and my acne clears. And I don't get fatigued. Need less sleep. Less anxiety...and just better mood management in general. Happy. Positive. Productive. Great parent. Connected with everything. Win lotteries.

Thanks for posting. I can't wait for my husband to wake up so I can tell him about winning the lotto comes with this :)
Now maybe I can get my son to get in on this.

There are so many other benefits!. I cured acne, fibro, Chronic Fatigue, depression. I have more energy, no puffiness, no soreness in my joints. My mind seems more clear, I'm happier, life seems more beautiful! I could go on and on! :)

I've lost weight, but even more, I've gained a new optimism for life. I think it's the energy in the food! I really do! I feel light, happier, more hopeful, and have less aches and pains. I was a mess before. If I eat a cooked food, I feel yucky.
Best wishes on your journey!

Wow, this all sounds so wonderful.
How long did it take everyone before seeing results in the above.

It took about 2 weeks of being all raw. I went all raw in one day. I lost 12 pounds in the first 2 weeks plus losing my sad outlook and aches and pains. I'd never go back!!

Every BODY is different. But w/me? The first thing I noticed was my skin. It "felt" different. Different from the inside out. But everything else happened quickly. That's at being 100% raw. Nothing is instant in life. Nothing of any value, anyway...

Well I can add a BIG DITTO to most everything said here, skin, hair, mood, sleep, energy, less fatigued....but sadly no lottery!! :D
But I'm not giving up on that yet! ;)
A great thread, encouraging to hear all of these things happening, like Bananna said I feel more connected, less scattered.

Hilarious! But yet inspiring. I've been lurking and attempting for months and months. I really want to start this. Gonna do it starting this weekend. Going to be really difficult tho with feeding two teens and me CONSTANTLY having the munchies. Sigh. Well thanks for the info and inspiration, all. :)
