Hi guys!

I decided to start a juicing feast for the very first time and have a few questions before I start on this journey.

I'm only a little concerned about what the effects will be on me mentally for when I make this abrupt change to pure juices and occasional green smoothies for 3 months. My main concern is mental performance since I'll be starting classes soon.

my questions are:

1) Is it safe to go from semi raw(aka a lot of SAD days) to 100% juicer for 3 months or is a transitioning period recommended?

2)What supplements do you include while juicing if any?

3) What pros/cons have you experienced while juicing extensively?

4)Is it safe to exercise while juicing?

5)While feasting, does the body ever tap into starvation mode?I really want to avoid that... I know listening to the body is important, but I think it's wise to ask for advice while the body tries to adjust. I imagine I'm going to feel hungry quite often since it's used to heavy, fatty, starchy cooked food. At this time, listening to my body would be a bit misleading. With that said, how many quarts do you usually average per day?

5.5) this one is irrelevant but out of curiosity, is your juicer scary?? I use a Breville and boy was it terrifying the first time I used it on high speed..

I really do appreciate any advice or tips! :p

Always keep Juice made and ready to use. Your Mental performance will be even better. Always keep water to sip on also.

1) Is it safe to go from semi raw(aka a lot of SAD days) to 100% juicer for 3 months or is a transitioning period recommended?

~~~You don't need to transition. You'll be fine. Of course, the longer someone is raw the less the detox is while fasting... but even with being raw... you'll have detox (not feeling 100%) days.
2)What supplements do you include while juicing if any?
~~~I take MSM and spirulina

3) What pros/cons have you experienced while juicing extensively?

~~~Too many pros to mention and don't really have many cons. It's a choice... one only you can make. This will bring great health to your body, release lots of toxins and bring you a lightness of being and clarity of mind you haven't experienced before. Of course, there is a foggy days too... it's a give and take situation.
4)Is it safe to exercise while juicing?
~~~Absolutely. Just remember... the energy you burn while exercising cannot be used to heal your body. So... if you are doing this for healing purposes - keep that in mind.

5)While feasting, does the body ever tap into starvation mode?I really want to avoid that... ~~~If you don't want your metabolism to slow down... do a juice FEAST instead of a fast. To feast... you take in 1 gallon of juice per day (and 1 gallon of water)... otherwise your metabolism will slow.

5.5) this one is irrelevant but out of curiosity, is your juicer scary?? I use a Breville and boy was it terrifying the first time I used it on high speed..

~~~Nope, not at all. I have a champion... and I looooove it.
