Hi guys!
I decided to start a juicing feast for the very first time and have a few questions before I start on this journey.
I'm only a little concerned about what the effects will be on me mentally for when I make this abrupt change to pure juices and occasional green smoothies for 3 months. My main concern is mental performance since I'll be starting classes soon.
my questions are:
1) Is it safe to go from semi raw(aka a lot of SAD days) to 100% juicer for 3 months or is a transitioning period recommended?
2)What supplements do you include while juicing if any?
3) What pros/cons have you experienced while juicing extensively?
4)Is it safe to exercise while juicing?
5)While feasting, does the body ever tap into starvation mode?I really want to avoid that... I know listening to the body is important, but I think it's wise to ask for advice while the body tries to adjust. I imagine I'm going to feel hungry quite often since it's used to heavy, fatty, starchy cooked food. At this time, listening to my body would be a bit misleading. With that said, how many quarts do you usually average per day?
5.5) this one is irrelevant but out of curiosity, is your juicer scary?? I use a Breville and boy was it terrifying the first time I used it on high speed..
I really do appreciate any advice or tips! :p
