Last year I made several pounds of dt's and they were all perfect...
this year.. they are turning Black...

I need help please...what am I doing wrong...

I need step by step instruction for tomato dehydration... I don't want to waste any more....

Sorry. I have dehydrated things, but never tomatoes.

I always dehydrate tomatoes (the store bought ones are not only cooked, but seem to have more salt than tomatoes, they would be more accurately described as tomato flavored salt). I simply slice them 1/2 inch thick or so and dehydrate at 105 for several hours.
