I write here becuase I have got a mate who want's to eat more raw, but get's exceedingly hungry at work. We're not new to raw, having played around with it for some 2½ years now, my mate has even been a fruitarian for half a year, but then he could eat a little every hour or so at the job he had then. Where he works now, he has the standard of one break, sometimes two, in the course of a workingday which strecthes from 10am to 6pm, if not later. For breakfast we share a smoothie made on almondmilk with the addition of 5 bananas, and some two or three teaspoons of spirulina. I realize the smoothie can be boosted with both other greens and more fruit. For lunch he brings a big salad, home made buns (not raw I realize, but better still than meat and what else he can get in the cantina, and good enough for this part of the journey although we are very open for other suggestions!), and a smaller assortment of fruit (typically a couple of apples and bananas). The ideal would be that he could just eat more often, ideally he does also have the right for a 5 min break each hour, but it is seldomly like this on a standard day. Any suggestions would be very much appreicated!:D

This is more like a snack but I find it pretty filling-bananas w/ almond butter and raisins. I just chop up the nanners and scoop some almond butter and raisins on top and take it to work. It's easy and cheap.
If he doesn't already do this, what about putting nuts or seeds in the salad? I've also crumbled up the carrot pecan patties from Alissa's book into a salad and it was good and a bit more filling.
I like guac wrapped in big leafy greens.
Also, maybe he could pack several meals instead of one meal and some snacks.
Best wishes!

I get through it by snacking thoughout the day on things I can eat one handed while still doing my job. If he works at a job like a retail where he cant eat in front of customers then it might be tougher.

I normally have a banana and large salad with kale and/or spinach and a bit of onion and/or radish slices mixed in and a couple of slices of organic flax or multi-grain bread (not raw). I normally have some sort of trail mix and maybe some fruit during my 1st break. I have a green smoothie and maybe a cucumber or some nuts (cashews or walnuts coated with olive oil and sea salt). The green smoothie consists of a banana, kale and/or spinach, a mango and/or some papaya, sometimes I will put in other things like parsley, cacao, cilantro, cucumber or cayenne powder. I don't normally get hungry until after I get home and I ride my bike to and from work 5 miles each way and walk an average of 5 miles a day while doing my job (quality tech.). I would suggest if your mate is hungry during work to try using some sprouted grains or seeds in his salad to add some more bulk to his lunch. He could also make some raw energy bars. There are numerous recipes here and on the internet in general.
