I received her book today, and just started to skim through it.

I need some clarification:

Page 65 - Week 1

Day 1:

She has the menu

Day 3 or 4:

She has the menu

What happened to the other 3 days. I guess you could prepare the same food for the rest of the remainder of the week? This is how I understand it to be.

Mung Bean Sprouts on her grocery list. What if I cannot find that, can I subsitute with a different kind of sprout like sunflower?

Hi Moretta and congrats on getting LOLF!

The reason Alissa has it that way is because you are making a LOT of food on Day one and that would last you two or three days. Then, you make more food on the third or fourth day and that food will last you the next few days. Plus you'll be eating other things such as salads, fruit, veggies, etc. and not recipes only...not to mention some of those items are rich so you'll find you won't need a lot in one sitting!

The mung bean sprouts are part of the Pad Thai recipe. You can omit them if you like and just use the squash and the sauce but if you can...get them because it adds to the recipe and I don't know if other sprouts will have the same effect...but they may. Do you have any Asian markets in your area?
