Dh came home yesterday and told me to get ready because we were going to go get some groceries. As we were driving, he said that we were going to pick up some fruits, veggies and nuts. I really didn't think that meant too much being that I was close to being out of food and needed to get some more. I asked him if he was still going to continue eating grains. And he replied, 'well, no. The Lord told me last night to get off of the grains. And I'm going to start getting closer to the way you're eating.' So yea! Of course, he's not 100% raw or anything as he did get nuts that were roasted and salted. (I soaked some of them in the fridge over night just to get all the salt off of them for him and to soften them. I'm sure he'll eventually get to the point of wanting them raw) And he did get soy milk (being that he likes his berries in some type of cream. I considered making almond milk for him but he doesn't like almonds so wasn't sure that he would like almond milk) And he still has his cans of tuna for the 3x a week he does eat meat. But hey, at least he's closer now than he was over a week ago! So yea! And it makes it a lot easier when two people are following close to the same plan in a household. I'm just bubbling over with joy that he decided to go on this journey with me - even if it's not all the way. He's not completely raw yet but he's not a far cry from it, either. So yea!
