Freeze Dried=raw?

I bought the most DELICIOUS CRUNCHY AMAZING freeze dried bananas the other day..then I started to wonder...does freeze drying count as raw? Does it kill all of the enzymes, or only some, like dehydrating?

Anyone have any idea? OMG if they are truly raw I am getting a CASEEE.

Sorry, probably not raw. I got some tasty stuff from Trader Joe's that was freeze dried and when I inquired found out it was also blanched or something like that first.

when I eat freeze dried pineapple, it still hurts my mouth like it's raw. so i say why not?
