Hey Everyone,

I'm going to start a juice fast next week with my husband and my motherr. However my mom will still be cooking for my dad. And I will still be cooking some things (SAD) for my kids. I already know that I will be tempted by the smells. And just wanted to know, has anyone experienced that, and how do you get past that without tasting the food?

Thanks
Nicole

I enjoy the smells and consider that a gift to my Self. Whenever possible... I let the kids prepare for themselves or let my hubby do it.

But when I have to do it... I make sure I have a juice right before if I'm feeling particularly enticed by the smells.
All the best on your fast... how long you going?

Just curious about the juice fasting, how much juice do you drink in one sitting? Do you drink until satiated?

Sorry, new to this.

it's up to you. there is no limit to the amount of juice you can consume in one day.

juice feasting is one gallon of juice and one gallon of water per day
juice fasting is less than that.

One gallon of juice! That's a paper grocery bag full of vegetable or more, isn't it. How much does that cost?

depends on what you are using to juice. the idea is to juice one head of celery, a few pounds of greens... etc. you can read their site (http://www.juicefeasting.com/) if you want to get their actual program happening.

personally, i am finding my body is loving my fast rather than the feast i did. i was so hungry during my 45 days of juice feasting... whereas now that i'm only drinking what my body asks for (instead of forcing it to get 2 gallons of fluid per day) - my hunger is gone. i'm thrilled.

but that's me... doesn't mean it'll work for anyone else. we have to find out own path when it comes to fasting/feasting.
