Hi my name is Mary and I live in Ontario and have three wonderful boys ages 21, 6 and 5 and last but not least a wonderful supportive man in my life.
I have become interested in this WOE since doing a bit of research and it sounds like a healthy lifestyle that will benefit me in the long run.
I stumpled upon this board yesterday, and after some lurking I was so amazed reading all the posts around the forum, and it seems like a great forum, and decided to join today.
At the moment I eat low carb, but want to get away from all the fats and cooked foods, so I am really INTERESTED and eager to learn all about RAW eating.
I am going to have lots of questions, and please forgive me for that. I am so new to all of this. For me its like starting kindergarten.
I hope to get to know you all real soon.
Have a great Sunday everyone.

A big welcome to you Moretta! That's how I found this forum - searching the 'net while going back and forth from low carb to low fat - I stumbled upon this and boy do I ever love it. I felt different and more alive within a couple of days. Of course, I don't do it perfectly - no one does (almost no one anyway). Everyone will be very happy to answer your questions so don't hesitate to ask. Have you thought about getting Alissa's book and DVDs? And doing a blog helps a lot even though it is time consuming. Enjoy your new life on raw! It truly is a new life. Oh, and don't let yourself get hungry and try to keep it simple.

Thank you for the warm welcome.
I am going to be ordering Alissa's book and DVD, shortly. They seem to be from what I saw on her website very interesting, and can't wait to dig in and start reading it. I love the idea about the 4 week menu plan. At least I will have some guidance there to a fresh start.
I am very excited to start this new RAWNESS of living.

Welcome......the best place to get ALL your questions answered would be reading Alissa's book and watching her DVD. They're great for those of use who are in kindergarden or in graduate school. Good Luck.
