Hi everyone~

I'm just wondering if anyone has encorporated either of these dvd collections into their workouts?

If so, can you tell me what you like about them, how long they are, how intense, how often you do them, etc.

I'm trying to decide between them & would like some input from someone who has used them - if you have them both - which do you prefer?

Thank you! :D

I can't answer your question, but you should check out this site:

http://www.videofitness.com/

It is a consumer-run site that is all about fitness videos. It is a great site and I know that someone there will be able to help you. One thing to keep in mind about it is that talk about diet is off-limits, and I agree with that--the emphasis of that board is on exercise.

i actually love my slim in 6 DVDs! i got them about five years ago, so they may have been retaped. i take them with me when i travel. the intensity progresses nicely with each vid.

Thanks for your input! I have read many mixed reviews on them - some like them a lot - others say they get bored doing the same workout everyday. I know there are 3 different levels & you progress at your own pace. I think someone also said the "sets" were more on one side than the other?

I haven't done Power 90 but I've been doing Slim in 6 for the last couple of years off and on. It's AWESOME! Even after I take a month off and hit back again I get really really sore for the first two days usually. That's with running 5 miles 4xweek@9 1/2 min/mile. So the workouts are good. The longest of the three is and hour which is manageable. It is hard to do the last DVD for 4 weeks straight but if you are just using the videos as regular workout suppliments you can vary what you're doing. Doing the 6 weeks just like they say if you've never done it before is VERY beneficial!! I got great results especially when I had just gone raw. Hope this info helps!! :)

Yes, your input does help - Thank you! I'm still really torn between the 2 - who know, maybe I'll treat myself to both! :D
