Hi everyone,

It is my goal to juice fast for a few weeks. I tend to cave on my fast because I start craving a savory salad. Well, it occurred to me that if I could get the savory-spicy kick in a juice combo, I would be satisfied and would stick to the fast.

Any suggestions? I was thinking about tomato, celery and cilantro, maybe with garlic?

My personal fav is tomato/red pepper/cilantro with curry, kelp powder, chili powder and cayenne.

Really really good. I do this one daily on my fasts.

(I use 1/2 a bunch of cilantro or more.)

Thank you! That sounds so yummy. I feel like with that recipe on the books I will be able to do this thing. :D

There's no rules in fasting or feasting. There really isn't. Following your own body and what it desires is so important. So if you are craving more savoury ... then just make savoury. Eventually you may find it changes.

I do waaaaaay more fruit than anything else. (as tomatoes are a fruit)... but I do add shots of wheatgrass and spirulina to get my greens. If I'm out and go by a juice bar... I always have a nice green juice as well. But at home... it's usually fruit. That may change as the weeks progress... but I'm cool with whatever my body desires... as long as it's not cookies juiced LOL
