I received a gift card for $20 at Crate & Barrel. What would you buy?

Thanks for the ideas!

I don't know. I've never been in one before. But I personally would buy some containers to store nuts and or dehydrated crackers in. Or another container to make more kombucha tea in! Dunno.
Lotta help, huh? NOT!!! sorry...

I would go to their outlet in Berkeley and have a field day. See if there is an outlet store near you. But right now I'd buy large smoothie glasses for myself or maybe a pretty red throw pillow to add some splash to my livingroom. :D

I was just checking out their web site. How about a salad spinner? Or some cool knives? Chopping block? Smoothie glass(es). Yep, have a field day! GO WILD!!!!!!!!

I would most likely buy a wooden cutting board, a salad spinner, or a few sushi rolling mats to make raw sushi. Have fun!!

Have any cash to go with it?

What do these look like to you? Stemmed? Tall and slender? Wide-mouthed?

I could add a little. I'd like to not add too much. What do you have in mind, Revvell?

RawHeaven, you have given me a great idea. There are no outlets in Houston, but I'll be in Chicago over Labor Day.

Does anyone know where this Crate and Barrel outlet is? I will be in West Rogers Park. Is it far?

Do you think that buying some cute little springform pans is worth it? Until now I use bowls that have the sides at almost a right angle to the base of the bowl when I want to make a small cake. (I line it with Saran, which does not thrill me.)

It's just fun to dream. Yet $20 won't go too far at all.

Has anyone used a corn zipper? Or a corn slitter/stripper? How do you like it? Is it worth it?

After reading the posts about glass straws, I was intrigued, so I searched their website. Alas, they do not carry glass straws. Sad.

Haven't used one but I want one. Ummm, see, that's what the added cash would be for. A corn stripper for me!!! :D

How about a cherry pitter? They have one of those? If you ever want to make Alissa's ~ what is that cake called w/ the chocolate/cherries? You MUST have a cherry pitter! It is decadent and wonderful!!!!
