Can anyone enlighten me to the many rewards of rebounding. I have read some articles that says, this is a good form of exercise, and it helps to cleanse the lymphatic system amongst other things. I guess what I am asking is would it greatly benefit one who is not exercising at all? I have been 100% raw for only a week and loving it. Can't wait to start using all the recipes I have found. Love the smoothies!!!!!

Read the stuff on this site (http://www.qibounding.com/1804798.htm)... also there are videos.

Here's a great page (http://www.qibounding.com/1261145.htm) and this page (http://www.qibounding.com/1794967.htm) of testimonials!

This is going to sound really weird, but I have a rebounder that I used occasionally before I had the stroke, and NOW I find that I have forgotten how to use it as my feet no longer go up and off the matt. I tried again a couple weeks ago and it just wasn't working. But, I am not going to quit trying! I keep visualizing and I know I will get it figured out some day and be able to use it to get the lymph system working great!

Your feet don't have to leave the mat! Just allow your body to move.

I often sit on mine and let my ab muscles do the work to get me bouncing on my butt.

I have a review coming up in the next issue of my mag... you are going to love it!

I have been told that pushing down is more important than jumping up so maybe you can do that.

I ordered the exact same one, with the bungee cords, yes? I can't wait to get it. It looks like fun, and thank you, it was because of your post that I looked into it...:) Have you noticed it toning your body?

oh i sure have... AND my 9 yr old daughter has released 10 pounds in a month using it!!! she's soooooo thrilled (as kids were teasing her about her weight and honestly, she needed to drop a little - she's always been a big girl 11lbs 5 oz at birth)...

you are sooooooo going to love it!!!

edited to add: i released .75" on my biceps... i haven't released anything for months... and now doing my rebounding daily... i've released this in the last month! coincidence? i think not!!!

Can anyone recommend a less expensive rebounder? I want to start, but these ones are too much for me right now. I'm saving up for my vita-mix!

I got one at Academy Sports for about $18. It has been going strong for a couple years, even with my preschoolers and their friends using it all at the same time and falling all over the place :-)

Not sure the brand anymore since it is plain black with blue rim and I don't have the box. But i am sure you can find it online if you don't have an Academy Sports.

you can go with a lower quality, but please don't go with a cheapo one. it's not good for your body... especially when you are using it daily. remember... this is the only body you have... take care of it!

but that's just my 2 cents worth.

Thanks Aleesha, I've been wanting to get one for some time and when I saw this thread I was naturally curious. I'm so glad I read it, and cannot wait to get my rebounder. Yes, it is expensive but you're right the cheaper ones will be hard on the body in so many ways. I found that site very interesting and have been reading off and on all day, want to be ready when it gets here...she said within the next 6 days...:D

I don't have to lose weight but I can use all of the rest of the benefits, she said that I will be amazed at how well it tones the body, cardiovascular and toning, improved immune system...hey I'm there...thanks!!!:)

I have a Needak rebounder and I love it! It folds in half and has a carry bag if you travel. I leave it open though . The legs fold down too. hth. Do not get a cheap one like the ones at walmart etc, they will hurt your spine. Mine is a soft bounce one and you can really tell a difference. It is not a "cadillac" one like the one mentioned previously with the bungee cords - but it is a very good one. hth. Lisa
