how do you buy raw beans & grains?

I know when I'm buying nuts, I should look for nuts that are specifically labeled "raw." Is the same true for buying beans and grains? I haven't seen any labeled that way at the grocery store. Am I okay buying beans and grains from the bulk section of the grocery store (to use for sprouting)? Thanks!

Yes. Make sure they're fresh or they wont sprout though.
