I am starting to do research on ALS and am wondering if it is curable via raw foods or any method.
Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Hi there. This may not be exactly what you are looking for, but I thought I'd throw it out there anyway.
I personally believe that anything can be healed. Now, you can look at the biophysics of it and understand what foods are beneficial and why...but it can be a very detached way of looking at it. Raw foods can be very healing, and indeed of all the choices out there, it is one that will likely be beneficial. I think though, that the reason raw is so healing for so many of us is that at some point it becomes very spiritual. We start having a deeper connection to the earth, a reverence for life and we shed most if not all our dietary addiction so that we start experiencing life without the excuses or "drugs" that many of us spend a whole lotta years dulling ourselves with. Then you start to live, and from that place you start to heal.
Not everyone takes a spiritual approach to food, but when it comes to true healing I don't think that you can separate the spirituality out of the equation.
That being the case, it will always be beneficial to clean up your diet and nourish your body in the best way possible (foods straight from the earth in their original form.) One of hte best ways to embark on a healing journey is to open yourself and allow all the information that is presented to wash over you. Take what seems relevant in the moment and be willing to explore.
In my world view illness is a physical manifestation of an emotional imbalance and I wasn't able to heal myself until I changed my patterns of thought and really examined my core beliefs. Raw helped me get to a place where I was ready to do that. I had an autoimmune disease that was destroying my intestinal walls and had begun to scar my liver. It was very damaging and I suffered for over a decade. I no longer feel that I fit the criteria for this particular disease. Raw helped, but I am very clear that it was the emotional shift that changed everything. I was raw for years without any major progress, but when I started really paying attention to my emotions, my thoughts etc. the healing was rapid.
So there you have it. In studying this extensively I have come to the realization that anything can be healed, if you are willing to dig. Best of luck on your journey.

If cancer can be healed, why not ALS?
