I'm currently sprouting radish and broccoli sprouts for the first time (using a sprouting tray). I've noticed that they look a little fuzzy. Is this normal? I've been washing them 2-3 times/day and it isn't particularly hot here.

Lollipop,

Well I've been growing wheatgrass and it's warm where I am too and I asked the supplier about the fact I see mold at the bottom and they said it was fine since your cutting off the top part of the wheatgrass. This is my 5th time trying to grow this.

It is is white fuzz this usually means that they just need water. Just water them more.

I add a little sea salt to my spray bottle and spray the affected area where the mold is. It does help sometimes.

use a fan- and dont use so many seeds, mold comes from the rotting seed shells, try cutting the current amount of seed you use in half, and the grass will have more soil to draw nutrients from. Dont juice grass with mold it will make you sick, thats why most people get nausea after wheatgrass shots, its not from the juice but the mold.

The fuzz you see on your sprouts isn't mold. The root hairs look that way naturally. I used to notice that when I grew radish and broccoli sprouts with my zesty mix I used to have. If you've been rinsing them on a regular basis, they should be fine. :) Here's a quote from the Mumm's sprouting seeds site...

"Don't mistake the fuzzy white root hairs of radish, canola, mustards, and other crucifers for mold"

...and a quote from the Lifesprouts FAQ on sprouting...

"Is it normal for some seeds to have a fuzzy moldy appearance?

There [are] some seeds, typically radish, which produce tiny root hairs on the stem on the third day. They are so small and close together that they often are mistaken for fuzzy mold. Carefully look at “fuzzy” sprouts before throwing them away to make sure they are not just seed root hairs. You should not get mold unless you are not rinsing the sprouts 2 times a day."

...and the Sproutpeople say something similar...

"Note: These wonderful little Brassica plants have a unique root structure. Brassicas will show microscopic roots starting around day 3. They are called root hairs and are most visible just before Rinsing when the sprouts are at their driest. When you Rinse the root hairs will collapse back against the main root. Many folks thing these root hairs are mold - but they are not. Now you know!"

Hope this helps!
