has anyone given up grains and noticed a significant difference in how you feel - compared to when you eat grains?

I loved bread and a couple times during this journey, I have made some raw breads and things from sprouted wheat berries, or rye and find that I am filled quicker and a little bloated up and don't really enjoy as well and wanted hot bread after that, so I had to walk away from it.

I am not a big oat lover, (except in Juliano's cookies :)) however, following my fast, I plan to try a couple of products with them - a pattie and a crust for a raw pie and will see if how I feel. I do find that I don't crave as much as I used too, and sincerely enjoy veggies much more over fruit.

I do miss rice, and a friend has shared her secret to soaking wild rice, and I think that might be a good choice for me - but I plan to stay away from the wheat for a long while.

I have always loved grains and been a big grain eater. I also suffered from severe head/neck/shoulder pain for half my life. When I went raw, these vanished. The very first time I ate grain again-it returned. I have experimented with this a few times now and know grains create havoc in my body. After I ate raw for 2 months I sprouted some grains for raw recipes and was unable to digest them at all. They really , and I mean really effected my elimination and my clarity.
Just one personal experience.

When I eat grains, I get a headache, neck pain, and joint pain. Cut the grains out and these go away.

I do not eat any grains. I do eat buckwheat kasha (soaked). Well buckwheat is not real grain It is more a seed of flower. It does not have glutten at all. I do not have headache (unlees my ex calls me ,-))) and I do not miss bread.
