Yoga, yoga, yoga!!!!!!! That's my main passion.

I am just beginning to get into Reiki, and Meditation. It is very hard for me to go within so meditating is a real challenge. I like the rewards though.

Another interest of mine is Synchronized Swimming. I know that some of you are laughing out loud BUT it is something that I have done since childhood and I love it. For me, anything in the water is GREAT!

Hey Kristi,

I cut and polish gemstones. I'm into extreme close-up nature photography, I draw and paint. I used to sculpt but gave that up.:)

I do a version of stained glass. I will see if I can get some pictures up for you to see.
I have sent these all over the USA as special orders. I also do Foot Reflexology and massage ;)
There, I got the pictures up but will only leave them there for a few days.

Hobbies.hmmm. I love to exercise but I don't really consider it a hobbie....more like part of my lifestyle. When I think of a hobbie, its something that is apart from what I normally do in the course of life, maybe just for fun. For me I guess that would be biking. I have a road bike (although I have not rode it this year), I hope to pick up a mountain bike soon and go with my kids thru the trails we have here. Hopefully within the next 2 weeks. I love to study prophecy, but again, thats not a hobbie either, more like a lifestyle. I would have to say its biking.

Conducting workshops -Massage therapy (will be taking test next month for certification) - cooking and uncooking, soap making and body creme' (I called it a business, but my husband says it is a hobby  ). Riding with family and just stopping to enjoy the culture, flea market, unsual restaurant, booking hunting - my husband and I love to buy books, which we read and I collect cookbooks. I write. I love to do research. M.B. said we should all do what we love - think I can get a job out of my hobbies -lol. I am working toward that, as I continue with my current 9-5 :o

Tglasco4 -- I also bike...and also have only been out once this past summer. Life gets so hectic sometimes, doesn't it? Anyway, I have done several long-distance road rides (325-400 miles over 4-5 days) and have seen most of the state of NJ on my bike doing my training rides. I love it! :)

I love my martial arts (Wado-Ryu, Kobodo-weapons, Pressure points).

Currently, with a 16 month old grandson living at our house, I don't have a lot of time to take up any other interests (now I know why we have children at a younger age!!!!). I'm hoping to become higher raw, so that I can keep up with the little one, work, keep the house up, do my martial arts, and still have an active life.

Rock collecting, scrapbooking, painting/stenciling (walls not canvas), I actually love painting so much, it's like therapy. Taking really long trips to places I've never been. Reading and food preparation rank right up there too!

I work full time and attend a university full time so I really don't have a ton of time for my hobbies :( . I really enjoy reading and writing. I'm very active in my religious community. I like collecting ethnic clothing. I enjoy travelling as well.

studying natural health and healing, learning new massage therapy techniques (I've been certified for 9 yrs.), reading, reading, reading, and I love nail polish! Maybe a little silly but I've always loved having painted nails and toenails it makes me feel totallly feminine. I literally have hundreds of polish colors in a glass front cabinet all organized by shades. I guess I'm a collector! :p

My biggest passion is reading - I'm always reading a book or 2 or 3 or 4. . . .Besides the mystery and fiction stuff (big Harry Potter fan), I have also been reading as much as possible about food and nutrition for the last couple of years. I have been down many a false path along the way, but I keep reading until I feel like I have a good handle a on a subject.

I also do videography and digital photography - some taping, but most the computer work to make the tapes or photos into works of art = )

I'm crazy about knitting, I make teddy bears, I love to sew / design clothes I'm always studying nutrition and want to find whats best for my health, I've explored many avenues, and healing foods interest me most, prevention rather than cure.

I love canooing, frugal living, anything that uses less of, or doesn't harm the planets resources (within reason) organising, did I say knitting ? :D

I want to have a baby this year, so I'm currently knitting a baby rug, I've just finished a tiny little cardigan.

I love to play tennis, although I haven't played in forever! I also love scrapbooking, teaching my kids to draw funny people, gardening, and reading. I am also a TV-aholic-Have you guys seen 'Wickedly Perfect' yet??? It is so good! 2 teams- everyone has a different talant- they have to plan dinner parties and have judges taste the food, grade them on entertaining, appearance- all sorts of stuff! It is so cool! The next show, they have to plan a 'camping' dinner party! It plays Thursday night if anyone is interested...

Thing I wish I didn't have to do: laundry! We have 6 people in our household and laundry is by far my worst enemy! I will clean toilets, scrub grub, vaccum, dishes- whatever, but that laundry is like a curse! Skull and cross bones on the laundry X :D

Autumn

I read constantly, anything and everything I can get my hands on. I'll read the back of the detergent box while I'm doing my laundry. :D I also garden, write, sketch, make fleece blankets, and thrift/yardsale/eBay shop.

I used to play the piano, french horn, and a few other instruments, but I've sort of given that all up. I still have a piano though.

Glad you asked!! I love working with multi media art... collage, bookmaking, stuff like that. I hoard everything, thinking I might "make something" out of it! I like to do art journals, too... it's a great form of expression for me. An extension of this is also funky jewelry that I make- I've done a couple of arts & crafts shows with them.

Gardening is another thing I love.... I"m shoping for seeds right now! Helps get through the cold winter!

I love spending time with my little toy fox terrier, Tony, and also my two bearded dragons, Vada and Beatrix. I love movies, and I watch way too many cartoons (anything from disney to Family Guy). I studied ballet for 9 years, and though that was some time ago now, I still enjoy doing some in the privacy of my home. I run 4-5 days a week, 3-8 miles at a time. I also love reading, making food for people and playing video games with my boyfriend. :D

I love to read...history, philosophy, poetry. Whether I am reading something for a class (and pleasure) or for pleasure alone.... there is always a book nearby. I also love to sew clothing..although I have not been doing it lately. I love ethnic clothing and tend to collect lovely natural fabrics...cottons, linens..batik and tie-dyed silks.

I enjoy hiking and canoeing...and also going on road trips and stopping at out of the way places...antique stores and thrift shops...I love crafting and creating. Although i am in the city now, I grew up in the country..and love "simple" things..and the imaginative results that often result from having to "make-do."

I also sing ...mainly Classical..Opera..Oratorio and other Sacred music...but dream of singing folk or bluegrass someday. ..or maybe jazz.

It's so great to read waht everyone is into !

let's see

I love to learn. Right now I love learning about raw food and the lifestyle, health and wellness. Reading about that too. And going to health food stores and learning from actually seeing things there. Love shopping for food for recipes I'm going to make!

LOVE to cook/uncook. Read cookbooks / raw recipes

Photography of course - that's what I do so I don't have to work for other people! lol.

Love travel photography - alternative photography like pinhole, widelux cameras, 4x5 cameras, FILM cameras!, Black and white nudes ( there are some on my website ) B&W of couples - making out (!) Jeff Bridges photography, Sally Mann, Starn Twins, Joseph Cornell, ohhh so many photographers I have been and are learning about. Photos for theater companies.

Calligraphy - not the standard kind - but my own writing with a dipping pen and a bottle of ink. Just LOVE writing.Love writing hand written letters with the pen and ink.

Did someone say Knitting? I too am a knitter but only in the winter and mainly while traveling - while on planes or waiting at the airport.
My latest is a baby blanket for my friends new baby.

I do love fashion, Gwen Stefani, U2, Alicia Keys, Soul Coughing, L.A.M.B., decorating our house, taking the train around town, going to the farmers market, road trips, e-mailing friends, researching everything I'm interested in online to the point of never leaving the computer, singing, guitar( although I need lessons ), food, power lounging ( lounging around the house at it's finest!, and spending time with my boyfriend and our 2 cats....and researching about dogs so we can pick one! ok that last part....wasn't a hobby list - but just other things I'm into.

I'll be volunteering at an animal shelter starting next month as well. That I think will be a huge challenge - but really good for me.

What a lovely topic! Lets see, what do I love to do?

I love to read...In my job I have to read constantly to keep up with with the everchanging natural health field...so I love to research alternative therapies, supplements & digestive care too.

I love to talk, I love to write, and have planned on doing a book for the last few years and never made it happen...I love to teach, I am an educator...I love to try new things, currently working on learning to gourmet "uncook".

I love to travel, I was an exchange student in Holland during high school and college...I have traveled Eastern & Western Europe, and spent 1999-2003 living and working on a Venezuelan island in the Caribbean...Because of that one of my hobbies is practicing spanish & listening to music of different cultures.

These days I am also trying to learn more about computers and webdesign since I have a new site in the works...

Cassy:)
