using soaked - and still wet nuts - for nut butter?

so is there anything detrimental to using nuts that i have soaked - and are still wet - to making nut butter? it just takes forever to thoroughly dry the nuts! i made mysticat's cookies with soaked, wet cashews and they turned out really creamy (more buttery than cookie texture!). so i am wondering if there is anything detrimental to using wet nuts to make nut butter.

Yes, it will only keep about 3 days in the fridge, compared to almost indefinately if they are dried.
