Hi All,

I'm wondering what everybody's favorite recipe is and if you could post them???? What are you hooked on right now??

Here is one I am currently hooked on that I tweaked from Alissa's book:

Portabello Mushroom with Hummus, Guac and Tomato:
(Serving Size 1)
1 Portebello Mushroom
1 Avo
1 Tablespoon onion
Pinch of salt
1/2 c. of soaked garbanzo beans and sprouted
1 tbs (or to taste) Cajun seasoning (you can make your own with celtic salt or buy it in a jar, example recipe below)
1 tbs Olive Oil
1 tomato chopped

For cajun seasoning:
2 1/2 tablespoons celtic salt
1 tablespoon dried oregano
1 tablespoon paprika
1 tablespoon cayenne pepper
1 tablespoon ground black pepper

1. Put avo, onion, and salt in food processor to make guac
2. Put garbanzo beans and cajun seasoning in blender to make hummus along with oil. Sometimes I add water to make it more of a paste depending on consistency.
3. Place mushroom stem-side up. Put a layer of hummus on mushroom and then a layer of guac. Top it off with chopped tomatoes.

Maybe not my favorite in taste, not that it's not good, but my favorite in ease of making:
Strawberry Milkshake
1 1/4 cups water
1 1/2 cups frozen strawberries
2/3 cups walnuts
1 T coconut oil
Agave or honey to taste
Pinch Celtic/Himalayan salt

Blend on high speed until smooth and creamy.

This makes about 1000 calories, you may want to do half.

I'm digging those dried kale chips someone posted about!

Tear up a bunch of kale (today I did 2 bunches today) into a bowl. Drizzle with EVOO, crunch up all the leaves until they are equally coated. Lay out on dehydrator sheets, sprinkle with salt and/or whatever spices you like (I also added garlic powder.) (oh! and use just a little - the spice power increases in the dehydrator, I have found!)

Dehydrate on 105 degrees for 8 or more hours (I got that puppy running 24/7 lately cause the yummy things keep disappearing! I ate 2 whole bunches of kale today!) :D

my favorite smoothie right now is
6 peaches
4-6 oranges peeled or juiced
1-2 bananas (I use 1 then add a little ice)
stir in lots of ground flax

light flax seeds ground up taste soooo good in this smoothie and keep ya regular ;)

My favorite recipe is from Ani Phyo's website and book. It is delicious!!! I eat it with nori, with cabbage rolls and a thai dipping sauce, wrapped in romaine, stuffed in peppers and tomatoes, atop a salad. Its really good!!!

Almond Ginger Pate

1 Tablespoon ginger (I use fresh ginger root)
1 clove garlic
1/2 teaspoon sea salt (I use a little nama shoyu for flavor)
1 cup almonds, dry
1 lemon’s juice
1/4 cup filtered water

Blend in food processor

Nori Rolls

2 sheets nori (raw)
1 batch Ginger Almond Pate
2 cups spinach
1/2 carrot, cut lengthwise
1 cup mung bean sprouts

Enjoy!!
