My hubby last night was in bed telling me that he wants me to know when we have the baby that he'll be jealous. He is a Cancer and that's been really hard sometimes b/c he gets jealous sometimes of having to share me with my daughter, too. He realizes it and is working through it and it's nothing serious, just that he gets sad when he doesn't get to be with me or have my attention for at least a few hours of the day.
Anyway, he said he'd like to read some pregnancy/parenting books from a dad's perspective and get some advice about this. Apparently it's pretty common for dads to be jealous of the mom and baby bond? If anyone can recommend books that deal with this, that would be lovely, thanks.

Hi,

My fiancee checked a book out of the library at our birth center called "The expectant father". He also read a non fiction novel that he really enjoyed called "Crawling: A Father's first year". I didn't read that one but I am guessing it is sort of like "Sippy cups are not for chardonay" but for guys. I've seen a number of other books for dads at the birth center - mostly how to pamper your preg wife, etc. but haven't looked through them.
