Our friend who hosts the events at his house (our apartment is too small) likes to have the events on weekday nights right now We might have a weekend event though someday. We thought maybe a Sunday afternoon.

We find purslane in the creek beds over here in Mountain View - near the Stevens Creek Trail. Or you can often find it in sidewalk cracks too.

Actually my bf and I are taking people foraging this Sunday and it is free - just an informal get together for anyone who wants to forage. The forgage will be held here in Mountain View at 11 am and we should be able to find purslane along the Stevens Creek Trail. We got some the other day and had to go into the creek bed to get it - not to difficult of a climb but there are rocks. That is where all the blackberries are right now too. Tons of them!
