hehe ;)
Fo-ti is a Chinese herb that does all sorts of stuff! It restores greying hair, lowers cholesterol, promotes longevity--here's a website with some info http://www.allnatural.net/herbpages/fo-ti.shtml :)

Lol, that's why I bought it too! I saw Ginger raving about it on this board and thought I'd give it a try :)
I just made this smoothie again to bring to work and I added some cacao powder and fresh spinach(mom went to the store, yay! lol) and WOW! Delicious!!!

That looks good, and I didn't know about Fo-ti. Looks promising, especially because I have poor circulation and it helps keep your blood stream clear.
No I must start my hunt for this stuff :)

quick question: is Dulse supposed to be any better for you than Spirulina?
I currently use spirulina in my morning smoothies.

Spirulina has different benefits from dulse. I think it has more protein. If I had spirulina, I would probably add it to my smoothies. I cannot taste the dulse, I only add a few shakes (less than a teaspoon). I could probably add more and not taste it

Looks wonderful...& yea, great picture!
...my only thought, though, is that a lot of chinese herbs have tested at very high levels of different dangerous things (lead, aresenic, etc. can't remember the rest), I remember reading that a bunch of different brands were tested & over 40% of the brands were FAR TOO HIGH in these things! {Wonder if there's a list available somewhere....?}
After all the stuff lately about the problems with things imported from china, I've refused to buy anything from there any longer (always tried not to anyways cuz of the factory conditions, wages, children working in them, etc.)
but after hearing this about herbs from various sources, even more so...
Sorry, don't mean to rain on your yummy health parade!

I'm a big fan of Nature's First Food. Think the name has recently changes to Sun is Shining. I used to drink it straight in water for a super quick meal fix. Need to get some more but haven't wanted to see it shipped during the hot summer! Might arrive cooked! Thanks for the inspiration.
