My dh - who is not yet raw but is getting close and still eats meat around 3x a week is having severe elimination and is trying to figure out why. A week ago, he gave up coffee, and I have been thinking maybe it's the coffee finally detoxifying from his body. But I'm not too sure. Of course, he is trying to figure out what to elminate from what he is eating to quit the severe eliminations, and I'm not too sure what to tell him. I'm thinking he should just let everything run its course...I've even considered telling him to go 100% for awhile just to clean more and more out of his system. today, he made the comment that someone was trying to turn him to the way I am. I asked him if he thought it was me (because I haven't pushed him on this) and he replied, 'I think it's God and you, too!' So what should I tell him? Any suggestions? And do you think it might be the coffee being detoxified?

What are you calling "severe eliminations"? What IS he eating now ~ besides meat 3x a week? There's a story here w/out enough information.

I had a client who, after some assistance, was having 3 bm's a day. Scared the *&^&* outta her ~ so she stopped doing what I'd told her. What to do? *shrug*

To someone who barely can squeeze out a bm, 3X a day seemed like a lot. To me it was absolutely natural.

I really do not want to make an assumptions with you, however, as Revvell how severe, cramping, or just access. Did he replace the coffee with water?

General Information:
Our bodies are made to eliminate with 1-2 hours after we eat if we are eating well. If we graze ( as I am known to do), your body will be working on what is in the digestive tract to eliminate that, and if we put just one little thing in there, it will signal to stop the work, and begin on the new thing. So, if there have been any changes to effect how he consumes food, this general information may assist him.

Now, if God is doing this, there is a still quiet voice that will reveal to him and provide the answers that he is requesting - again general information and biblically sound.

Well, to me, of course, having elimination two to three times a day is just normal, but to my dh, this is not considered normal...I think all this started Friday morning...he still does eat other stuff that I don't touch. his menu was pretty much the same all last week from Sunday till this past Sunday - hamburger on whole grain bun with some onions, mustard and ketchup. Then some kettle chips. Then some whole grain toast with canola oil non-dairy margarine (yuk!!!!!!!!) on it. About 2 handfuls of salted cashews. 3 bananas. 2 small salads consisting of iceberg lettuce and onions along with some olive oil and vinegar dressing. He hasn't had severe cramping or anything like that. He just got tired of hitting the restroom every 30 to 45 minutes for awhile...he's been trying to figure out what to take out of what he has been eating...we were talking about this last night again, and I just told him to eat what I eat for awhile. Don't know that he'll do it, but we'll see...

HI livenraw. I can tell you one thing I noticed about myself and maybe that will help. Grains do that to me! So the toast and bun in this case. Just a thought.
Best wishes to you and hubby.

Personally, out of what you said, I would eliminate everything but the bananas. :p

Could just be a little bug if it has lasted for a shortwhile. He may be getting a nudge and as you said, you may end up with a gourmet raw chef in your house - Girl, keep us informed with his new creations. Just hoping..... :p
