Hi everyone!
I'm back to a raw diet after about 6 months eating pretty much unhealthy vegan diet. Glad to be here among friends:O)
Here's a bit about me: I'm married and a mother of 3. I've been vegan for about 14 years and I first was introduced to raw foods back in 1997, I believe. I didn't know enough yet and was trying to live off giant salads without a firm understanding of why and what to expect. Needless to say I stopped eating this way shorting after starting. I continued looking for health throughout the years though, making magic smoothies packed with goodness and eating lighter, less processed foods.
Then I went through a period of eating bread, chips, cookies and soy products, barely a leaf of lettuce passing by my lips. Stress and food control issues taking over my life.
Jumping forward to now, I've been on and off raw for the past year or so attempting to find a balance not just with food but in my life. And I must say I'm on the upside of things:O) I love how I feel when I eat raw, living, undehydrated foods. It's such a blessing to have found something so simple and easy!
I'm looking to connect with other raw/living foodies for fun, sharing and laughter:O)
Thanks for letting me share,
Raja
