I have a question. When I go to work for lunch I will bring a salad-mabye some nuts and fruit-about three to four of them. I usually bring a variety, but I was wondering would it be better to do mono with the fruits v's variety. I do know that when you eat melon it should be eaten alone. Thanks.

I do both and haven't have any problems. I keep a pile of fruit on my desk, like bananas, apples and oranges etc. I'll grab something if I'm hungry. But I also bring fruit salads to work as well. My favorite is bananas, strawberries and blueberries...........basic but oh so yummy!

You can try it both ways. If you don't have a problem combining - then I wouldn't worry about it. :)

i lived on fruit salads for the first few months i was raw. mango/papaya/banana and any other fruits i had on hand... and sprinkled with chia seeds (http://www.rawveganbooks.com/product_info.php?ref=199&products_id=1001333&affiliate_banner_id=1) for protein, calcium and omegas. mmm it was GOOD!
