yum berry (http://www.keepthedoctoraway.co.uk/showNews.aspx?loadid=00496)

High in antioxidants, this Chinese wonder-berry helps with weight loss, promotes a healthy complexion and even keeps wrinkles at bay – it’s positively a skin-care elixir in a bottle.

Available in the UK for the first time, The Berry Company has created a healthy, refreshing juice drink containing absolutely no artificial flavourings, additives or preservatives. Up until now China’s best-kept secret, the fruit resembles a lychee, tastes a bit like cranberry and is 100% organic and until now has been China’s best-kept secret.

The very latest superfruit on the block, replacing the Blueberry, Pomegranate and the more recent Acai (Brazil) and Goji (China / Tibet) berries, the Yum Berry has been used in its native China medicinally for thousands of years for its various health benefits. As well as high antioxidants levels, it also contains a wide variety of vitamins and minerals, including vitamin C, thiamine, riboflavin and carotene. It helps boost the immune system, increase those all important energy levels, and is said to reduce cholesterol, fight cancers, protect the heart and maintain a healthy cardiovascular system.

If that wasn’t enough, the antioxidant-rich juice is also said to keep the dreaded wrinkles at bay, promote a healthy complexion and, because it inhibits sugar in the body being converted to fat, it can help with weight loss too!

ahhh google... gotta love it!

and a little more info for ya:

Yumberry is a Chinese fruit crop which is quite unique and it is mainly cultivated in the sub-tropical region of southeast China.

It has been around a long time, around 6000 years ago and was eaten as wild in the south of the Yangtze River.

The fruit is actually called yang-mei. The way the Chinese pronounce it in their dialect is 'yang-mee', which sounds similar to yummy. So Charles Stenftenagel (a garden products importer from Indiana), coined the name yumm-berry in 2003 when he was visiting a friend in Shanghai who owned a company that bottled the juice. So the name yumm-berry is relatively new.

In England it is called red bayberry or Chinese bayberry. In Chinese however, the name means polar plum.

What does it look like?

It has a bright-colored round appearance the variety of colours are red, pink, white and purple. It's worth noting that the purple yum-berry tastes better and the quality is superior too.

This amazing fruit packs some whopping health benefits such as...

Protection For Eyesight
Reduces Cholesterol
Relief and Possible Prevention Of Arthritis
Cardiovascular System Protection
Yum-berry is rich in vitamin C and contains multiple organic acids. This appetizing rich fruit acid can do many functions. It aids saliva secretion, and will clear up hard digested food in your stomach. It will also prevent body sugar from being converted to fat.

Tummy problems? Get some yum-berry juice. It has the potential to cure persistent purging of the bowels (diarrhea!) or bellyache and also can inhibit E.Coli too.

Yumberry-juice can also fight cancer.

Yes, my point was not many raw foodists have mentioned it or sell it on their sites, so maybe its not as well known. Or maybe its known under a different name.
