Hi there, I know this may sound strange - but has anyone gained weight by eating too much fruit??? I had been eating maybe 5 fruits a day along with my veggies and actually put on a few pounds. Yikes!!!!:confused:

No, but I gained weight eating too many raw nuts and seeds. Your metabolism may be of the type that doesn't like too many carbs. Mine's the type that doesn't like too much fat. Too much fat not only makes me feel lethargic, but I gain weight. Perhaps a better choice of foods for you would be one that includes fewer carbohydrates and more fats. Try varying the way you eat and see what works for you. Also do keep in mind that how MUCH you eat is important, too. If you eat too much of just about anything and don't burn off all the energy, you'll gain weight.

Thanks I guess I thought that I was doing my body good but I know if bread/pasta etc. puts on the pounds I guess its no different from the fruit.
Carbs are carbs

Welcome!! I wish you the best of rawesome health! I haven't had this occur with fruits, but have had it occur with dehydrated foods...
