YUCK!! All of a sudden my GS's have a ton of this nasty foam on top of them. I haven't changed my ingredients... spinash, water, ginger, banana, and something else like apple, berries, et.

Has anyone ever had this happen? how do i stop it?

oh... and I'm using a blendtec.

UPDATE -- SORRY FOR THE REDUNDENCY... I JUST SAW THE THREAD FROM LAST MONTH.
I was just so desperate after another nasty smoothie this morning I didn't even take the time to look.
Added some coconut oil and it took away the foam immediately.
I guess I had been adding hemp or chia before and have been forgetting lately.

I also find that this happens when I blend my smoothies for too long.

It happens if I don't use enough water. I don't use much water but the little I use does help.

Hi-

I started a thread asking the same question (I hate smoothie foam :p as well), and I'm assuming that that is the thread you saw. What I do now is add a few tablespoons of hemp seeds to some water and banana when I start making my smoothies (I can't use coconut oil, as it would separate into little pieces because I like my smoothies ice cold). Hemp is also a complete protein and I like having that first thing in the morning. There are many options out there. It's so nice to be foam free!
