Hi all,
I've posted to a few forums and thought I'd introduce myself. I'm 43 year old female. I've lost almost 50 pounds since the first of the year by eliminating processed foods, watching my calories and increasing my exercise. I elimnated processed food to cut down on salt to reduce my blood pressure. I read about raw food eating last month and it seemed the natural way to go for me. I want to lose more weight to get to around 150 pounds - 50 more pounds. I've increased the amount of fruit that I eat as I wasn't eating that much before and now eat fruit all day until dinner time. It seems like I eat a lot of fruit over the course of the day 3-4 bananas, 3-4 apples, 3-4 peaches or nectarines and sometimes a large salad for lunch.
I ride my bike to work (10 miles one way) 3-4 times a week and am trying to incorporate body weight strength building exercises into my routine. I enjoy the bike riding. I also walk my two dogs almost every evening for 1.5 miles. They enjoy the walk and so do I.
