I just made 9 full trays of dehydrated breads.
All were based on srouted buckwheat since I'm not crazy about wheat berries.
I am left wondering just how "good" these or ANY grain products are...
SInce when I start eating these sprouted breads I cannot STOP!
I read somewhere that only birds are meant to eat grains since they have gizzards.
I love the work of Fredereic Patenaude as well, he is a natural hygenist and is against eating grains.
I'm wondering what you great minds think about GRAINS.
THANX!

You should check out Doug Graham's book "Grain Damage", it's very inexpensive and does a great job detailing all the reasons why grains are not human foods.
I was "allergic" to wheat and "sensitive" to corn and rice before I went raw. I think my body was just telling me that these are not ideal foods. So many people are allergic to wheat and suffer greatly because of it.

I know when I am not eating raw If I eat wheat I get the worste symtoms really bad stomache pains and bloating like you don't know. But I tolerate the ezekiel breads well and when i eat the raw breads I do ok without the same symtoms even wheat berries. I know that many people are really sensitive to the grains. I think it is an individual thing. If you wish to eat them and tolerate them well then by all means. if you do not really want to eat them then just stop. If you have problems with them then definately stoop. Why suffer when there are so many other really wonderful foods to eat. And breads you can make without them like the onion bread for example.

For me, I find grains gives me headaches, joint pain, and I don't lose weight when I eat grains.
Here are a couple of articles that are anti-grains. I know there are people who can sprout grains and eat them . . . so it might be up to the individual. Just listen to your body. Try eating them and if you don't have a problem, the go ahead have have them. If you get symptoms or if you are even doubting if you should eat them, then don't:
