I'm Martin. I'm 16, and I've been experimenting with raw foodism for the past 6 months. I plan on being a raw vegan someday, but I think it takes trial and error and lots of experience to be done right.

I'm currently working on a website, which is a blog about my journey and purpose and life. I'll probably be doing a 30-day raw trial soon, so I can record that on my website while talking about it here as well.

I'd say that I'm a person that's always trying to improve upon everything, and that's what's brought me to raw foodism. I believe that the raw food diet is the best possible diet if done correctly.

Anyways, I'm happy I found this forum. I'm excited.

Ah I don't know about "doing it right" it's more a process of simply doing it!

If you are eating raw foods... 100% of the time, then you are doing it right. If you choose to do it 90% of the time... then you are doing it right. There really isn't a wrong way to do this... it's more a process of following what it is your body desires and providing that.

I welcome you and hope your journey into raw brings you great health, great knowledge and a beautiful bliss-filled experience!

I don't think it's as simple as just eating raw food though. There's people who eat a raw vegan diet but end up becoming ill, suffer from a lot of hairloss, lose too much weight, not get enough of something. I'd like to play around with the diet a lot before I commit myself 100% to it. I'd say right now I'm generally 50% raw. Sometimes for a week or so I'll go 100%.

Thanks for the weclome :)
