Frozen greens?

My health food store puts all their organic greens on sale when they start looking a little less than picture perfect. like two dollars for two heads of romaine. If I bought a lot of greens on sale, blended them with water, and froze the green liquid in ice cube trays, would I be ruining the integrity of the fresh greens?

From what I understand, you lose some integrity of the enzymes by freezing but not that much to make a big difference. I say give it a try and save some $$$$!

I am on a budget as well, and I just buy up what's n sale and put it right in the freezer whole! I am just using it for smoothies anyways... :D

i do the opposite. i buy them, cut them up and dehydrate them! rehydrate and use at leisure!
