Hi! I have gotten here though a life long interest in health (I am a nurse) and search for the ultimate in healthy diets. I was diagnosed with MS a5 years ago ( a mild case so far) so that really stepped up my search. I tended towards healthy organic cooked foor and suppliments and have so any bottles in my house! Now I feel like I have found a way around all the pills and maybe a cure for myself! Its been about a week since I finished Alissa's book. I found the site while looking for coconut butter (hers is YUMMY!) and once I picked up the book I couldn't put it down. So far a feel great! But still not 100% raw. working on it!

Hi Sarah,

Welcome!

Raw is a journey; any steps you take to add more living foods to your diet is a huge positive change.

FYI, there is a raw food meetup group for the NoVA/DC area:

http://rawfood.meetup.com/67/

Lots of potlucks and activities.

Best of luck.
