View Full Version : Is this a raw vegan forum or just a raw food forum ?

Ive been on this forum a while, and Im wondering if its raw vegan or just raw food, as I am referring to things like raw milk, from cows or goats etc, which are effectively raw in the true sense of the word, and I am wondering what are peoples views on raw milk from cows or any other animal ?

This is a vegan site, with the exception of honey used by some people. We don't discuss animal products as we don't feel that they are healthful. If you're interested in raw animal products, there are other discussion groups elsewhere. Good luck!

Okay got it, except for bee pollen etc. I was only asking out of curioisty, not to actually properly discuss it.

Can't be any better than my little red miniature daschund!!! (who I now know I should have named Veggie. He goes wild everytime I get a raw vegetable and knife out. Celery and red peppers are his favortite)

Too bad they usually don't love her. :(

She comes runnin when I start cutting veggies too. But mostly tomatoes. She knows the distinct sound of a tomato being cut...because she doesn't come when I cut cucumbers...:D

Actually, that equals being vegetarian and not vegan. But there seems to be a lot of great info here and very nice people.

I am vegan and am having trouble because so many restaurants claim they are raw vegan and their food contains honey or bee pollen. I pray someday there will be some kind of law that states you can't call food something it isn't.
