has anyone read this? If so, what did you think? I have read several excerpts from different chapters and thought it was well-written, though it doesn't advocate vegan/vegetarain - it just advocates replacing food by man with food by God. I think this book would come in handy for those who might still have a dieter's mentality and need some guidance at first when going raw. For example, it says that morning should be a heavier carbohydrate, lower fat meal. Then on into lunch, less carbs with moderate fat and then for dinner, basically no carbs with higher fat. I think this might work for some who are trying to transition but might still be scared of seeing a weight gain on the scale. I don't follow it at all - though I do agree with the idea of eating food by God, not man.

Personally, I eat food that's provided by nature to us as all food has been provided to all animals. I don't concern myself with breaking foods down into fats, carbs and proteins as all raw foods contain them and, if eaten raw, and organically (as much as possible thanks to man's interference), in season and locally, I'm good to go.

I don't count anything, eat what I want, when I want. To me, there is so much more enjoyment to eating raw, and such a freedom without counting, weighing, piecing, portion control, or GUILT.

I was a little worried about you wanting to lose an extra 10 pounds until I just read your other thread in which you said you were under 5 feet tall...whew, I'm glad to know that !! I'm only 5'3" and I know exactly what you mean about a little bit of extra weight showing....It was always kind of hard to watch tall people be able to eat so much more.
