It may be too late but from all I've read and heard, make your yard bird friendly, especially to the blue thrush or, whatever loves those white moths. Put up some bird feeders, bird houses, bird baths. They will naturally take care of the critters.
Grow sunflowers as well as birds like hanging out atop them and searching for critters.
If you spray your plants with ANYTHING, including soapy water, you're killing the natural predators as well as the parasites. Sort of like anti-biotics.
I lost all my cabbage this year, then Cathy (Lafsalot) told me about this and I've also read about it in organic gardening books. We're preparing for next year now.
