Does anyone know of good sources to buy spirulina from? I've heard that it can help regulate hormones, which I definitely need some help with, so I'm looking for a reputable source. Thanks!

i recommend Nutrex. any good health store should have it.
nutrex has all the cold pressed/ totally organic/ yadda, yadda, standards that are so important. it's certified up the ying-yang.
also i find it's a good tasting one.
some of them can taste aweful.

I really like NOW brand from iherb. But I have nothing to compare it too! I read the reviews and a couple people preferred a different brand, saying NOW's was mushroomy. Maybe that's why I like it. It tastes rich and savory like mushrooms. I put it in green smoothies and they just taste a little richer and creamier and are a beautiful dark green (instead of bright green without spirulina). I always lick the spoon after dumping it into the Vitamix because I think it is super yummy.

I get mine from healthforce nutrionals. I also have their greener grasses and I use E3Live. Alissa has a great green food that has spirulina in it.

I never have purchased spirulina itself but my local health food store (Great Pumpkin in West Chester, PA) sells a spirulina energy bite thats great!! If anyone is within this area i definitely recommend trying out this store and this product. Great source of B-12.
