vit e gel capsules

what is everyones opinion on this... someone once told me if you get the vitamin E liquid filled capsules and cut it open and put that on your face it helps clear your face up. opinions?

It is awfully thick in that form to use straight on your face, unless it is spot treatment. My husband had surgery on his spine a few years ago and the scar/healing area was horrible, thick...we put the oil from a natural e capsule on it twice a day and you can hardly even see it now...we thought it was pretty amazing at the time.

My grandmother swears by using vitamin e oil to heal scars. We have Mediterranean skin (olive colored) and scars show very easily. Vitamin e oil helps.
I don't know if it would be good to put directly on your face, as GlimR mentioned. Maybe you could mix it with another oil and put that on your face? I, too, still struggle with acne, but raw alone has helped tremendously.

I swear by liquid vitamin e for sunburns! that's all I've ever really used it for--works like a charm!
