Hey everyone, I know this is not raw, but I know it is in Aylssa's book for a recipe or two. I am looking for red star brand, but I couldnt find it at whole foods. Has anyone ever gotten Red Star Nutritional Yeast from whole foods and if so, around what area would it be found. WHole foods is so huge and the people who work there aren't too great. Thanks!

If you can find it in bulk, it is almost always the right kind--the vegetarian support formula. If you ask one of the bulk workers, they should be able to show you the package. Also look in the supplement aisle. You want the one with the high B12! I think K-cal makes a brand that's good. All else fails, you can buy it online from Tree of Life or www.healthy-eating.com for a good price.

Hi, thanks for the reply. After some searching online, I found out that the red start brand nutritional yeast is the one they carry in bulk at whole foods. I always just passed by the bulk nutritional yeast as i figured it was some junky brand. I tryed the K-Cal one and did not like the taste so much. I heard the red star one has the best taste.
