Ice Cream

WOW! Thanks Pailani and all the rest of you who threw in your 2 scoops about ice cream. I just tried some - peach (from good ripe Georgia peaches).
But I didn't make enough . . . I used 2 frozen bananas, a gulp of honey. a small cap of vanilla (small bottle), and a ripe peach. Then came the disappointment. It didn't freeze up. Sooooo I pulled out our ice cream maker (getting the bowl from the freezer) and in 10 minutes I had a very good tasting batch of ice cream . . . which my wife and I enjoyed. mmmmmmm!

I have yet to make any ice cream, but frozen Bananas with chocolate sauce drizzled on them is great, as is (to me, although others would disagree) durian! get it nice and cold and it's just like ice cream...

I think you could get more of a consistency of ice cream if you added almond milk to your frozen fruit. I have yet to try it with almond milk, but before raw, I did it with soy milk...gave it a creamier flavor and more consistency like ice cream...bananas and blueberries mixed together are the best.
