Perhaps the 12 viewers had no expertise to pass along.
I've read that honey is great for healing wounds (antibacterial). Dab it on blemishes before bedtime. Good luck!

Sorry for not responsing earlier...I am the acne queen as I've been dealing with it for 18 years, and sadly honey did not make any difference for my skin whatsoever. I used it for a cleanser and also a mask for awhile, and no change, good or bad...Never tried it but Manuka honey might be good for treating breakouts as it has anti-bacterial properties
I think these skin issues MUST be addressed internally as what we put on our skin makes very little difference....well, at least for me I am more likely to harm my skin with topical anything rather than actually eliciting a positive change...easier just to leave it alone and cleanse from the inside out

I agree. Even the extent that I wash my skin makes almost no difference at all for skin breakouts. But if I eat a bunch of SAD foods, I have huge breakouts on my hands and my back. I look like some evil witch I get so many bumps on my fingers.
It's not what you put outside your body that causes acne. It's what you put inside your body. Just do an elimination diet, and simply refuse to eat anything that causes you to breakout. It's as simple as that.
I've had good experiences with using it as a spot treatment and also with a lovely mask: put honey on your face for 5-15 minutes, then remove with brown sugar and warm water. This makes my skin sooooo soft. I haven't done it in a while, but I actually used to "wash" my face this way once daily. And I would skin brush and rinse with water for my other "washing".

My skin improved after following a raw diet. However, the adult acne didn't totally clear up. I have estrogen dominance problems and I think my acne is related to that. I wish you good luck, I know how difficult it is to deal with this problem.
