I went to a pre-opening party there a couple weeks ago. They were still trying to get enough money to open. They had a bunch of different sample of menu items - everything was amazing! They are having another one on November 2nd (Sunday). It's worth checking out - I had a lot of fun and everyone there was really nice. It goes from 12-8, I think I was there for an hour and a half.

I'm going to be visiting that area end of November... I sure hope they're up and running by then! *blinks and bites fingernails*

I hope it's open by then too!
If not, you can check out Chaco Canyon (half of their menu is raw)

Also, Cafe Flora and Tilth don't have a raw menu, but will prepare you something raw if you call them ahead of time.

I am surprised no one has reported on Thrive yet:)
I took my daughter and went there today for the first time. I have been really sick all week and finally got out and had someone make me some smoothies!
We only ate dessert and drinks, however they were delicious. My chocolate cake was the most decadent raw cake ever- and the portion size was huge! Finally a dessert I can pay a hefty price for and have enough to share.
My daughter loved her almond milk and cheesecake. The cheesecake portion was smaller, but still very tasty.
The store is vibrant and very nice- for such a small space, they have really made it alive. I look forward to going back and trying some of the savory foods soon- the crackers and dips sounded yummy!
The bill was 30 dollars for a big smoothie, a chocolate Mylk, 2 desserts, and a ginger lemon drink to take home to my DH. Pretty much the average price for a raw splurge in Seattle. I felt like we got our moneys worth.
Its so cool having 2 raw places not far from my house now- I actually had to head back to work today after being ill all week, and was out of juice and energy- so I stopped at Chaco Canyon on my way to work and got 3 smoothies to go- drank all of them- then got another on the way home. I think it definatly helped:D

This is great! I can't wait to ferry over and try it. I checked out their website and the menu sounds fantastic. I'm so glad to see more "raw" showing up in the Seattle area!!

absolutely everything there is fantastic! I've had the thai soup, the crack-a-lackin, the cheesecake, the chili, the teriyaki, the pastadoro, and the chai almond milk (tasted just like regular chai - even my super picky non-raw husband thought so).
I agree that the portion size to price is reasonable. My husband at first thought $9 for a salad was ridiculous. Then I reminded him that at any regular restaurant, a salad would be $11-13. And, $12 for an "entree" is much cheaper than any entree he would get at a regular restaurant - you're lucky to get something for $15-$17 at most places.
Oh, and by the way, I got a "cup" of soup and it came in a giant mug, not a tiny little cup like you would expect. It was more than plenty.
